S. Sridhar has 16 years of diverse and international work experience in financial services and corporate finance. Sridhar has a successful line management experience with full profit responsibility; proven ability to deliver enhanced performance through formulating and implementing strategy and managing change, both internally and in the market place. He has worked with Arthur J. Gallaher Asia Pte Ltd, Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group Plc, and HCL Group. S. Sridhar is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
S. Sridhar started his career as a Trader at Madras Stock Exchange and handled institutional trades and arbitrage business. From there he joined the HCL Group handling Corporate finance. He was instrumental in setting up the Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group Plc operation in India and became business producer in the Financial risk and Oil & Gas business. He was promoted as country head in 1999.
In 2003, S. Sridhar had a retainership contract with Arthur J. Gallaher Asia Pte Ltd to assist for their entry strategy to India and once the venture is established to run the India operation.
